He is a person made and nurtured by music. Music is a vocation for Slurm – a calling of the spirit. Since his childhood he experienced the need to be involved with music: to record it, play it and listen to it, in its most varied styles. He remembers the radio his mother brought home one day. That radio became the first gateway to music. He discovered and compiled, recording on cassettes, the singles he remembered from his parents’ music. Music was always his companion. “From music I have drawn everything: my career, my family, my life”.

The call to create his own music led him to Argentina, where he studied music production. In 2013, he created his record label “Savia Park”, which today has more than 40 EPs, featuring the best producers from Ecuador and a selection of artists from Latin America, seeking musical integration in the continent and the connection of music everywhere. In 2016, he moves to Quito, where for 1 year and a half he gives life and resides in the now defunct BPM Club. BPM Club helped him introduce his sound to the capital, where, in mid-2018, he turned over a new leaf and joined the Bassick team. 2021 was a year of realization, with the release of his debut album “Rebirth” at Savia Park. Well received in the music scene and with important comments and reviews in the press. This same 2021, Slurm released a remix for ‘Steve Bug’ of the track ‘Chordwalk Empire’, which was published on the official soundcloud and bandcamp of the record label ‘Poker Flat Recordings’. He is currently based in Quito, playing all over Ecuador and counting on future performances across the continent.
